R.K. Dhingra has done the lighting for nearly 2000 English, Hindi and Urdu plays. He has worked with the most eminent directors and theatre groups of India and abroad. A man of international repute for his creative genius, Mr. Dhingra has won the Bharatiya Natya Sangha Award, the Sahitya Kala Parishad Award and the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for Lighting Design. Sindhu Mishra is a Bharatanatyam dancer of great repute. She has succeeded as a choreographer with a compelling style of her own, and has conducted several workshops on modern dance movements. Sindhu is an acknowledged name in theatre, and has worked with some of the most eminent theatre directors of the country. Her solo performance in Naachni has brought her international acclaim. Mahendra Mewati, a student of the National School of Drama, has been a member of the School’s Repertory since 1995. He has worked with major directors such as Bhanubharti, Mohan Upretti, B.V.Karanth, Nasiruddin Shah, Satya Dev Dube, Ratan Thiyyam, Ram Gopal Bajaj, etc. He has had major roles in innumerable plays, and has acted in several television serials and feature films as well. Born in 1945 in Bikaner, Rajasthan, Nand Kishore Acharya is a poet and playwright of repute, as well as a master of literary criticism. He has received several awards including the Mira Award, Bihari Award, Bhuwaneshwar Award, and honoured by the Rajasthan Sahitya Akademi and the Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Akademi. His well-known plays are Bapu, Ghulam Badshah, Dehantar and Paghal Ghar. Dr Chandrasekhar B. Kambar is a Kannada poet, playwright, novelist, film director and folklorist. With his rural upbringing and scholarship in folklore, he introduced folk motifs, themes and myths into Kannada literature. He won the Playwright’s award of the Sangeet Natak Akademi in 1983. His play Jokumaraswamy was given Natya Sangha Award in 1975. and Sirisampige the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1991.

Born in Kerala in 1952, K. Jayakumar started his career as a lecturer of English and later joined the Indian Administrative Service. Simultaneously, he pursued an active literary career. He has many lyrics and scripts of various Malayalam films, documentaries and serials to his credit. He has received the Best Lyric Writer Award in 1988 and 1996, and the Best Lyricist Award in 2001.
